The great Cajun biker party
This rally used to be in Enon, LA but they relocated to Sandy Hook, MS just a few short miles north of the Louisiana border. Same old crowd though, it's definately got a Cajun feel to the entire weekend.
Walking around you'll meet some good ol' boys from down the bayou... don't worry if you can't understand most of what their saying they're all good people and sure know how to party. Half of what they say may be in some kind of local dialect which is part french, part english and part alchool... but how much to you really need to understand when they're cooking a giant pot of shrimp and waving a beer to invite you to their campground? Hey, laissez le bon temp rouler! That's cajun for ''let the good times roll''.
The party itself was pretty good... not as frantic as some of the other rallies but still a real good time. Relaxed was the theme for the weekend, at least until they started the nightly contests when them cajuns can really cut loose.
They had a thong contest on friday. Saturday was a poker run (benefit for a local biker named Q Matherne who has cancer), Biker karaoke on stage, biker games later in the afternoon along with a burn out contest and girls wrestling in pudding, and a wet t shirt contest when the sun went down. Sunday morning devotional, biker games, bike show and a bikini contest after sundown.
As you can imagine, whatever the stage contests after dark started out as they all kind of finished off in the same way. If you don't know what I'm talking about, you really need to get out to more rallies.

The bands were pretty good, and local. Playing... zydeco? Is that what you call cajun music? In any case not the same old southern rock I get to hear every weekend. Not that I'm complaining, it kind of gives the rally that ''mardi gras for bikers'' feel, which is fine by me.
This is the second year I've been to the labor day biker party and once again I had a great time. It's a great little party with a couple of thousand of the right kind of people... as a matter of fact them cajun boys (and girls) are a lot of fun and really make this rally stand out from the rest. Was it worth the trip? Well, I just got back a couple of days ago and I'm already looking forward to next year. Does that answer your question?
Fortunately we don't have to wait an entire year, they've got another party on Memorial day... which if you ask me is a lot more fun than the gulfport blowout. Now I'm sure that I'll be getting a zillion emails from people that have been going to the blowout for the last 25 odd years telling me how stupid I am... and all I have to answer is FIRST GO TO BOTH RALLIES, then tell me honestly where you had the better time.
Next May I'm making this my memorial day party, because as all my new friends would say ''U cun ga-rhun-tead have a gud timez cou-zin''. Which is cajun for hell ya it's a good party!

search of this information for my mission.
my page - Nubile pertains to a young lady who's prepared or right for marriage by virtue of her age.
Do you have any video of that? I'd love to find out more details.
